Stuart, one of the co-owners, has spent all his life in the caravan and camping industry. Originally fitting and repairing caravans and then making bespoke Pods and outdoor accommodation to order.

He is a perfectionist and would put so much time and passion into getting the finished product to the highest possible standard that when they were ready to be delivered, he would want to keep them for himself. Being a Glamping enthusiast, he saw a way of doing this and at the same time saw a big gap in the market for bespoke and quirky accomodations that were more than a Shepherds hut or Yurt that were popping up all over the country.

He identified an remote, overgrown island on the 300 acre leisure lakes complex and had a vision of making his own island of bespoke accommodations that would offer so much more for a Glamping enthusiast, whilst at the same time providing safety and security... The rest is history

A complete blank canvas meant that he could create what he wanted where wanted it, meaning all the accommodations have been placed where they are so they all get complete privacy whilst at the same time making the most of the views available.

All the Pods have been handcrafted by Stuart and built in situ meaning trees that where already on the island have been retained and sometimes run through the heart of the build. They all have a different look, feel and character and are finished to the highest possible standard
